Social proposal · Sept – Nov 2026

Making the Homadic Score the thing people check before they book.

A proposal by Somewhat Studio

Launch: January 20273 monthsBarcelona

We don't sell stays. We publish proof.

You're not competing with Airbnb. You're answering the question Airbnb can't. will it actually work when I open my laptop?

01 The challenge

Two sides, one engine

Hosts are the revenue. Nomads are the reason hosts pay. Neither moves first on its own. So we build the one loop that moves both.

Hosts need demand

$150 is an easy yes the moment an owner can see nomads asking for certified stays. Today they can't see it yet.

Nomads need to know

The Score solves a problem every remote worker has had. Almost none of them know it exists. Which is the most fixable problem here.

Quick wins up front

A waitlist, a host form, social links on the site. Small pieces. And once live, everything we send starts compounding.

Your strongest asset is already written

The audit protocol is short-form content as it stands. Speedtest at the desk rather than the router, decibels, a score out of 100. Measurement, a number, a verdict: the format that performs best on every platform you're about to launch on. We're not inventing a territory. We're staging the one you built.

Six pillars, 100 points. Every one of them is a series.

02 The two targets

Nomads get the problem.
Hosts get the solution.

Same brand, two registers. Funny for one, useful for the other. Everything we publish is one or the other. That's the whole system.

For nomads

Make the pain funny. Everyone has lived it. Nobody has ever put a number on it.

01

The Fail

The wifi drops ten seconds into a meeting. The neighbour drills through a client call. The "desk" is a bedside table. Short sketches, played straight. The situation is the joke.

02

The Test

Speedtest at the router: 900 Mbps. Speedtest at the desk: 41. Same flat, same afternoon.

03

The Score

A stay gets measured, the number lands. Sometimes it fails. Which is what makes a pass mean something.

For hosts

Make the standard obvious. Show exactly what turns a flat into a place someone can work from.

04

The Spec

What a great remote-work stay actually has. One element per post: the desk, the chair, the outlet in reach, the light on your face, the door that closes.

05

The Fix

"This stay scored 62. Here are the three things that would take it to 80." Cheap fixes, big point swings.

06

The Proof

A host before and after certification. And what changed in their enquiries.

The loop

How the two sides feed each other

01

Proof brings nomads

Filmed audits and score reveals make the Score a reflex before booking.

02

Nomads bring hosts

Visible demand is the clearest argument a $150 fee will ever have.

03

Hosts bring distribution

Every certified stay carries the badge on its Airbnb and Booking listing. In front of people already booking. Your cheapest channel, and still available.

04

Distribution brings more nomads

And the loop keeps running without us.

03 What the posts look like

Real footage. Clean data on top.

Handheld, natural light, the flat exactly as it is. With perfectly typeset numbers over it. Polished footage looks like a listing. Numbers over real footage look like evidence.

The rules

Hook in 1.5 seconds, a number on screen by second 3. Real room sound. Never trending audio on a test. The Score badge in the same place every time. Subtitles always burned in.

What we avoid

No beaches, no drones, no stock footage. No "POV: you're a digital nomad". The lifestyle account is the cliché your product dismantles. You have something more interesting to say.

The register we're aiming for

Five reels that get the pacing right. Fast hooks, a clear payoff, nothing over-produced. Swipe through.

Reference only. not our work. What we take is the rhythm, not the subject.

Where it runs

Instagram. Home base, 3–4 pieces a week plus stories. TikTok. Discovery, rawer edits of the same films. YouTube Shorts. Search: "wifi bali", "best wifi lisbon". LinkedIn. Hosts and operators, twice a week.

Brand-led account, with the founder as the recurring face: the auditor.

04 Roadmap

Three months to January

Each month ends with something measurable on both sides. Not just a stack of posts.

MONTH 1

Build

Identity + content library

Discovery and audience research, positioning, creative direction, visual language, content pillars and series, first calendar, 30–60 ideas, scripts and shoot briefs, first shoot directed, feed architecture, profiles live, launch strategy.

Nomads: accounts live and optimised, 15–20 pieces banked, three series tested.

Hosts: operator target list built, outreach material ready, first properties approached.

MONTH 2

Establish

Consistency + recognition

Monthly strategy, 12–15 feed pieces published, stories running, a new series launched on Month 1 signals, creator and UGC coordination, community management, performance analysis and creative optimisation.

Nomads: two or three winning formats identified. We track saves and shares ahead of followers.

Hosts: first applications attributable to social. Host stories in production.

MONTH 3

Grow

Growth + conversion

Double down on the winning formats, stronger creator strategy, partnerships, UGC, campaign concepts for January, conversion-focused content, monthly reporting, creative testing, growth recommendations.

Nomads: waitlist converting, formats documented and repeatable.

Hosts: badge live on real listings. The loop running on its own.
